About Rob MacCallum

I grew up in Hingham, Massachusetts and attended public schools. Upon graduating from Hingham High School in 2003 I pursued a higher education at Nichols College.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2007 with a concentration in sport management.  My degree took me to Salt Lake City, Utah where I worked for Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer as the game day operations and merchandise manager. Three years passed and I realized the path to advancement would have involved actions that went against my character.

I switched gears and took a job with Liberty Mutual selling insurance.  I have always been someone who thinks outside the box and is solution driven so having several layers of bosses was not something I wanted long term.  This led me to opening my own insurance agency in Weymouth, Massachusetts in 2015.  I still own and operate it to this day.  Colleen came into my life in 2017 while coaching club soccer and when I brought her down to Vero Beach to meet my family, she said to me “I am moving here, are you coming?”  Anyone who has met my wife knows this is a true story…so we joined my family, that has been here since the 60's, and are raising our two young children, Liam and Fiona.  

 

Colleen and I both own and operate EXIT Right Realty here in downtown Vero Beach and have 30+ agents who actively serve and service the community with their real estate needs.  My favorite thing is to help guide agents towards creating goal setting plans, implementing action, supporting and celebrating when the fruits of their labor come to fruition.  I plan to bring that same passion to the school board to help our system reach the goals and advance our students.
